BANANAS TO FIGHT CANCER
The dark spots that appear on a banana peel are a sign that the fruit inside is ripening. Scientists have found that a full ripe banana produces a substance known as TNF (Tumor Necrosis Factor). This substance has the ability to combat abnormal cells. The more dark patches, the more effective the banana is.
The way TNF works is that it stimulates the production of white blood cells, which help fight against health problems. However, you should keep in mind that overripe bananas change their sugar content to simple sugars that can be harmful for certain people.
